According to Wikipedia “a blog is usually maintained with
regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or
other material such as graphics or video”. Entries are
commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. Blogs are a
great way to generate interest in your web site and keep
people coming back time and time again. Remember traffic is
the key to success. By building traffic that is interested in
the content of your web site through a blog you will
definitely see profit from your pay per click advertising and
product sales.
There are different types of Blogging software
available. I like http://wordpress.org/ which is free and
makes setting up a blog on your web site easy to install and
use.
I also recommend setting up blog categories. Most blog
software allows you to create sub-categories to help organize
your entries. This will help visitors narrow in on specific
interests.
